Description
This Limited-Edition barstool features an exclusive actual original real life photographic image – not AI created – of the UNION PACIFIC RR UP #4014, the “Big Boy”, steam locomotive built 1n 1941 at the American Locomotive Works-ALCO plant in Schenectady, NY. This photo depicts the #4014 after rebuilding flying the American flag during an operating move across the Union Pacific RR. One of only 25 “Big Boy” locomotives built exclusively for the UP RR and the only one still in operation today (2026), the #4014 will power a train across the United States from California to Philadelphia, PA as part of the celebration to commemorate America’s 250th Birthday. Weighing 1.2 million pounds – 132ft 9 1/4in long, carrying 6,500 gallons of oil and 25,000 gallons of water in its tender, the “Big Boy” 4-8-8-4 articulated was the largest and is the heaviest steam locomotive in operation (2026) ever built.
A true American icon.
