Description

This Limited Edition barstool features an actual real photo image – not AI – of the R&N READING & NORTHERN RR’s #1776, an EMD SD-40-2 diesel locomotive, recently (2025) painted in patriotic RED-WHITE-BLUE colors. It debuted on Veteran’s Day – November 11th, 2025 in a paint scheme that was designed and applied by R&N employees at the railroad’s Port Clinton, PA locomotive shop. The R&N RR operates over 400 miles of track in eastern Pennsylvania. R&N #1776 is shown here at Port Clinton, PA, the headquarters of the R&N RR. The R&N #1776 is currently used on passenger excursions and freight trains throughout the READING & NORTHERN RR system.
