Description

This Limited Edition barstool features an original actual real life photo – not AI created – of privately owned and fully restored PM PERE MARQUETTE #1225, a Heritage steam locomotive, is an N-1 class 2-8-4 “Berkshire” type, built in October 1941 by the Lima Locomotive Works and retired in 1951 by the PM’s successor – the Chesapeake & Ohio RR. On November 30, 1985 the PM #1225 moved under steam for the first time since retirement in 1951. As of 2014, the #1225 operates excursion service passenger trains over the Great Lakes Central Railroad and continues in this operation under ownership of The Steam Train Institute/MSTRP.
